Apr 29, 2024

A Boston man is being accused of stabbing someone with a screw driver on Saturday.

Michael Josey, 62, of Boston, was arrested and faces assault and battery charges after the Boston Police department said he stabbed someone near 493 Blue Hill Ave. The person who was stabbed had non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the person was stabbed with a screw driver but the suspect had fled. They later found Josey, who they said matched the description of the suspect, holding a screw driver, police said.

He was arrested at 6:13 p.m. and charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon. He is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
